Do-It-Yourself Granola Bars

Snack or energy bars are always termed as a healthy complete meal due to the healthy ingredients used in them. To mitigate the problem of artificial sweetener and sugar, we prepared the same energy recipe with our natural honey and dates as sweetener.


  • 2 cups of Holy Froots Millet Granola (loaded with Blueberries, Flax seeds, Chia seeds, Bananas, Almonds, Melon Seeds, Cranberries, Raisins, Ragi, Bajra) 

  • 4 apricots (chopped) 

  • 2 cup dates/khajoor 

  • 2 tbsp water 

  • ½ cup peanut butter 

  • ¼ cup organic honey (Holy Froots Lychee Honey)  

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 

  • Pinch salt 


Step 1 

firstly, keep 2 cups of our Holy Froots Millet Granola aside. 

Step 2 

In a mixer add 2 cup dates, 2 tbsp water. If you are using regular dates, then soak the dates to soften them before grinding. Blend them to a smooth paste.  

Step 3 

Transfer the dates paste to the pan along with ½ cup peanut butter. Cook them on low to medium flame until it is well combined. 

Step 4 

Cook this until the mixture turn glossy and separates the pan. Transfer the dates peanut butter mixture to the same bowl of Granola. 

Step 5 

Add ¼ cup Holy Froots Lychee honey, 1 tsp vanilla extract and pinch salt. Mix this mixture well using your hands. Ensure everything is mixed well. Mix until it starts to hold the shape. Do not worry if the mixture is sticky, the oats will absorb moisture. 

Step 6 

Transfer the mixture to a tray lined with baking paper. Now press and level up forming a smooth layer. Cover this layer and refrigerate for 4 hours or until it sets in completely. 

Step 7 

Finally, cut this into the desired shape and enjoy a healthy granola snack bar in the morning or sneak this as a snack :)
